Where to start

You don't have to adopt everything at once

The right first modules depend on your situation. Start with your most urgent problem.

  • Korean subsidiaries of global companies

Headquarters standards clash with Korean regulations and approval practices.

    Start with these modules

    • Full standard scope
    • Orcait Korean extensions

All four types start inside Adaptive ERP without buying another product. Once you see results, you can add separate products such as Supply Chain Planning (DSCP) or Global Trade Compliance (GTC).

Global multi-entity operations

Run a group of companies on one database

A single QAD application database supports multi-country operations for a group of companies through domains, entities and shared data.

FAQ

Common questions before adopting QAD

Which QAD ERP modules should we start with?

The right first modules depend on your company. Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers start with EDI, Kanban, Customer Schedules and Supplier Schedules. High-mix, low-volume manufacturers start with inventory control, cycle counting and Lot/Serial tracing. Growing mid-size manufacturers start with MRP·MPS and purchase orders. Korean subsidiaries of global companies take the full standard scope and add Orcait's Korean extensions.

Do we need to buy separate products from the start?

No. All four types start inside Adaptive ERP without buying another product. Once you see results, you can add separate products such as Supply Chain Planning (DSCP) or Global Trade Compliance (GTC).

Can our overseas subsidiaries run on the same system?

Yes. A single QAD application database supports multi-country operations for a group of companies through its domain and entity structure. Headquarters sets the group template, local requirements such as tax law and language are applied, a lead subsidiary validates the result, and the template then rolls out to the other subsidiaries.

Can QAD standard functions cover Korean business practices?

Some Korean business practices are hard to cover with QAD standard functions alone. Orcait adds Korean extension modules on top of the standard and builds what the standard lacks on OrCore, our extension platform. We never modify the standard programs.

When can we get a quote?

We confirm the license and implementation quote after an As-Is assessment. The assessment reviews your current operations, and then we find the right starting point for your company together.
