System integrationERP sets the standard, the shop floor executes, AI judges

Beyond ERP,connecting your entire manufacturing operation

We connect MES, QMS, PLM, groupware and EDI to QAD. Different departmental systems, one period close.

Shop-floor connection

Three steps to connect the shop floor

The first step is connecting the shop floor to the ERP. AI can find problem processes only when shop-floor data is gathered to match the ERP standard. What we provide today is step 1.

Three steps follow one another: connect, diagnose and optimize. The connect step is available now. Diagnose and optimize are on the roadmap.

    • Step 1 · AvailableConnect: ERP and shop-floor dataWe match POP, MES, equipment and barcode results to the QAD production, inventory and quality modules. Plan and actual become one set of data.
    • Step 2 · RoadmapDiagnose: AI finds the problem processesAI picks up signals that differ from the ERP standard, such as lower yield, utilization swings, concentrated defects and lead-time delays, and breaks down the causes.
    • Step 3 · RoadmapOptimize: put process improvement into effectWe simulate the work sequence, layout and equipment allocation of bottleneck processes, and check the effect on cost and delivery in ERP figures.

Steps 2 and 3 are prepared together with the roadmap for the AI platform's Production, Quality and Equipment agents.

What we provide

ERP integration and AI process analysis

We show what we provide now separately from what is on the roadmap.

  • Roadmap

    AI process analysis

Detecting problem processes, root-cause analysis and improvement simulation. We plan to use the same engine as the AI platform's Production, Quality and Equipment agents.

We provide Orcait POP/MES for shop-floor connection.

FAQ

Common questions before an integration consultation

How do you connect peripheral systems such as MES and groupware?

With QAD Adaptive ERP at the center, we integrate MES, QMS, PLM/PDM, groupware and banking systems in real time through REST APIs. The shop floor and management work from one flow of data. Customer EDI connects through EDICOM, our global EDI partner.

Can data from shop-floor equipment go straight into ERP production results?

Orcait POP receives running time, downtime and cumulative stroke counts directly from the equipment PLC and posts them as QAD results.

Can we use AI process diagnosis and optimization now?

AI process diagnosis and optimization are at the roadmap stage. The AI platform's Production, Quality and Equipment agents are planned to use the same engine. What we provide now is POP, MES and ERP integration.

Where should we start?

First, we assess where you are today. In a process improvement assessment consultation, we start by checking where the ERP baseline data and the shop-floor results break apart.

Process improvement starts with an assessment of where you are today

Instead of promising results, we measure them with an As-Is assessment. Find out together where the ERP baseline data and the shop-floor results break apart.
